Brent Applegate, PT
Brent began his career at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, working in many different areas and gaining experience in many of the different phases of the rehab cycle. It wasn’t until he combined his history of horses with that rehab process that he found what he believes to the most efficient and most beneficial form of rehabilitation to date. He believes it is the combination of traditional techniques in this unique setting that have the most profound impact on his patients

Debbie began volunteering at a local facility in 2009 while attending a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. With her love of horses and love of the pediatric special needs population, she immediately knew this was the perfect fit for her. After graduating from the PTA program in 2011, Debbie began performing Hippotherapy full time with children and adults with a wide variety of disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Global Delay, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and Autism. Currently Debbie is managing the CSU Temple Grandin Equine Center in Denver and a PTA with My Heroes.
